Join us on May 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM for our opening day speaker series at Fort Laurens. Alan Fitzpatrick will be discussing the momentous, irreversible events occurring in what was called the Ohio Country during the mid to late 18th century. These events reshaped and changed forever the lives and traditional culture of the indigenous tribes living in the area. The talk spans the years from the eve of the French and Indian War until the American Revolution in the West. It also reveals major overwhelming factors threatening tribal presence and cultural cohesion.
