Join us on July 24, 2026, as the Sons of the American Revolution perform their annual Changing of the Guard duty at the Tomb of the Unknown Revolutionary War Patriot. This event will be held from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a guard change every 15-20 minutes. This ceremony is modeled after the Changing of the Guard ceremony held in Washington DC. We ask that all participates show respect by remaining quiet and avoiding interruptions during the event.

On July 25, 2026, at 10:30 AM, the Ohio Society SAR will hold their annual Wreath Laying Memorial Ceremony at the Tomb. Again, we ask guests to remain quiet and avoid interruptions during the ceremony.

Both of these events are free and open to the public. The museum will be open both days with regular admission being charged.
